In order to become the one of the "Best Colleges in the U.S.," an institution is judged in specific categories. Secondly, Afterwards, 15 aspects of academic excellence are reviewed; these include: peer assessment, retention, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, among others. Each aspect has a specific weight. Finally, we receive a rank depending on how our score compares to other colleges/universities. This was a group effort. We were graded on everything from how many students return every fall to the percentage of professors with the highest degrees in their fields. This year, Holy Family was ranked within Universities-Master's (North) for our region and we are in the third tier. Other local schools on the list include Villanova and St. Joseph's Universities.
